It's not done yet with Nnamdi but if that happens it will be awesome. He'll also likely be taking a significant amount less to play for the Jets than he would for a team like the Texans or 49ers. That says a lot about Rex and players desire to play for him. Hopefully they can get it done.
I'm a huge Jets fan and most of my life that's meant disappointment. As soon as they hired Rex I was pumped about it but didn't realize he'd be as polarizing a figure as he is and that the team (both front office and players) would respond as quickly as they have. Now it's just a matter of getting over that AFC Championship hump.
I'm hoping 2011-2012 is the best sports year of my life with a Jets Super Bowl and Cats championship. Fingers crossed.
It seems to me that the NFL is actually in better shape after the lockout then it was before. All the Free Agents are sparking my interest in a huge way. I don't even have a team just mainly root for the locals and against the Patriots. Somehow though my interest is at an all time high. Its gonna be a fun NFL season. Definitely getting into a fantasy league this year. We should do a leage here at TBK. Somebody who had some experience can get a league together. All the talking head in the media thought that the NFL would lose some fans even if we didn't miss any games. Certainly isn't the case for me. I don't know how the NFL does it but they've got me hook, line and sinker and I don't even have a team. Amazing really.
Well not the Jets, Eagles got him. Not as exciting in my opinion was hoping to see Revis and Nnamdi islands shutting down Brady this year. Eagles are gonna be real good this year I think too with Vince Young playing backup to Vick, Young is a starter quality QB and now Nnamdi and Cromartie on defense, they could be a real good team.

Damn, I knew the Jets were out yesterday late afternoon but wasn't expecting to find out Nnamdi went to the Eagles. Mostly, I wish that wasn't the case for Trevard Lindley. Hopefully he can still establish himself as a regular.
