2012 UK Recruiting Class - 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago Mon, Dec 5, 2011 1:38am

Forgive me for being brief and general, but I know a lot of people don't look elsewhere and I just want to get some info out there at this late hour.
As late as two weeks ago their was A LOT of concern the UK recruiting class, one of our supposed best in years if not ever, was going to completely fall apart after the disappointing season. This was the thought by many due for many different reasons. Today, that doesn't seem to be the case AT ALL. The opposite even seems to be happening. Kids who were soft to UK have now began to re-confirm their commitments and while we lost Thorton a month ago we replaced him with a really solid back in Mobley and Thorton was soft from day one and never really denied it. So, my only point is, at this point, it seems crisis adverted and we're going to sign one of the best classes in our history come Feb.
OTOH, UF lost Mike Davis, 4* RB from Stephenson HS, tonight and their fan base is nearing meltdown mode (UT also lost a RB recruit this weekend).

There will be one or two kids that fall off, either by choice or because UK can't end up taking them due to grades. But this could be a really good class.
