Such a random pairing.
Like you Marc I wonder how long as well. Maybe he's hoping he can sue them and they'll pay faster than Tech.
Oh well, you get what you hire.
Just glad Leach will no longer be the football version of Hunter McLintock for our fanbase.

Thank God we no longer have to hear about him as a wish by some UK fans. Of course, I'm sure some will now spin it as another example as to why, in their opinion, Mitch was asleep at the wheel and cost Uk a good hire. Anyway, I'm just glad he landed somewhere so the talk about him and UK can stop.
That said, it is an interesting hire for WSU from a pure football standpoint. With both Leach and Rich Rod now going to the Pac-whatever-it-is-called-now, there should be some pretty exciting offenses to watch in that league now....even moreso than before. Given how defense isn't a big deal in that league, I actually expect him to do pretty well, at least by WSU standards. Same for RR at ASU.

Mike and the WSU AD have known each other for years and are friends. He needed to try something to get the booster fired up since they are putting millions into renovations. Nobody in the SEC could touch him. The ESPN contract was a major factor. He is at a good place but it's a risk.

Those two offenses along with USC's and Oregon. WOW. They'll probably never win a championship at any of these schools but they will be exciting.
