University of Kentucky to be Featured on ESPN's College Football Live 50 State Tour
Kentucky pigskin fans should set their DVR for 3:30 pm (EST) this afternoon (Tuesday, August 4th) for ESPN's College Football Live's 50 State Tour feature on football in the state of Kentucky. The feature, which began on June 1st and counts down to the start of the college football season, highlights football within the featured state (Collegiate and High School) and even asks for fans to participate in an online vote at ESPN.com for related categories like Best Player in State History, Best Team in State History, and etc. Don't forget to vote before the show in order to see the results in real time this afternoon.

UK Fan Day at Commonwealth Stadium Set for Saturday, August 8th
Kentucky's annual Fan Day has officially been set for Saturday, August 8th with gates opening at 6:30 pm. The team and Coach Brooks will be introduced at 7:15 pm with an autograph session following at 7:30 pm and running until 9:00 pm. The Fan Day will also feature fireworks at dusk as well as an equipment stand where fans can "try on" Kentucky football helmets and pads.
The first 2,000 fans to bring new school supplies for donation will receive a free hot dog and coke at the event.
Players to Report and Begin Practice This Week
In exciting news for long suffering football fans who have been without for months due to that torturous summer stretch, UK players report to campus this Thursday (August 6th) with the first team practice to follow on Friday (August 7th).
